In the last few years, David Barbour has photographed close to home. In Ottawa, he chooses to photograph night urban landscapes in the winter. All the photographs are walking distance from his house.

He uses a 4x5 Toyo with a 6x12 back as well as a Hasselblad X-Pan for this outgoing series of personal reflection of life and memories.

Other photographs have been taken in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and document specific places he defines as home.
